The Tigers primary striker, Muhl went 2-for-2 on penalty strokes. A captain, her incredible play earned NorPac West Defensive Player of the Year, Second Team All-Conference and West Defensive Player of the Week awards. Muhl's hard work was recognized nationally when she was voted to the second team all-west region. Lisa finished her career with a program high 20 career defensive saves. The 2009 season put her in second for most defensive saves in a single season (9) and saw her named team Most Valuable Player. Throughout her career, she was named player and rookie of the week twice each.</p><p><strong>2008 (Junior)</strong>: Muhl started in all 17 games played. She was named to the NorPac Second Team All-Conference. Leading the team with six defensive saves, she also recorded two goals on 18 shots to finish the season with four points.</p><p><strong>2007 (Sophomore)</strong>: Starting in all 18 games, Muhl led team the with four defensive saves. She took seven shots during the season</p><p><strong>2006 (Freshman)</strong>: Muhl started 17 of Pacific's 19 games and recorded her first career assist in the Tigers' 4-3 overtime win against No. 6 American University. She nabbed her first career defensive save against No. 1 Maryland. Her efforts against American and Maryland earned her the NorPac Rookie Player of the Week on Aug. 28. Muhl picked up her second NorPac Rookie of the Week honor after helping hold the powerful California offense to just three goals in the final week of the season.</p><p><strong>High School</strong>: Lisa attended Souderton High School in Souderton, Pa, where she was also a four-year varsity letter winner in lacrosse and soccer, as well as field hockey. In 2005, as the team's most valuable defensive player, she led the Indians to a District-One championship and to the PIAA state quarterfinals. As a senior, Lisa scored one goal and recorded four assists.</p><p><strong>Personal</strong>: Lisa Muhl was born in Lansdale, Pa. Daughter of Thomas and Connie Muhl, she has three siblings: Jessica, TJ and Kate. Lisa plans on using a degree in business marketing to become a marketing coordinator for a sports related company.
